Background

The assignment is to take end-to-end responsibility for business-critical functions and deliver with stability, pace, and long-term impact. The delivery was established in Västerås, where dedicated teams work closely with the client’s operations and daily processes.

Challenge

Increased demand and complexity placed a strain on central functions. The technical Q&A function lacked clear ownership, which led to varying response times and reduced efficiency within the engineering organization.

At the same time, pressure on order handling and customer communication increased in Ludvika, where more escalations and parallel priorities created friction between functions. In a continued growth phase, the need for structure, clarity, and predictability became crucial.

Scalable and stable delivery.

Knightec Group established two teams with clear responsibilities. One took ownership of the Q&A function and created a stable interface between sales and engineering through structured handling and defined lead times.

The other team consolidated customer escalations and coordinated priorities across functions, providing better visibility and a more cohesive execution. In parallel, ways of working, roles, and customer communication were improved.
