Agile project management is about managing projects in a more efficient way. By allowing the project to deliver a portion at a time, we can make quick changes when required. There are many advantages, regardless of the application area of your project. In this training we go through the basics of agile project management and Scrum, the most common methodology in the field. It is great to combine the agile way of working with XLPM.

The agile approach has other demands on skills and differ from traditional methodologies. To understand it fully, we will discuss also the underlying ideas of Lean.
A valuable and much appreciated element of the training is the exercise project that allows participants to explore their new roles and be part of a Scrum team.
You will learn to make a workable project plan in a change prone environment, and how to create transparency in the monitoring and progress reporting. The approach can be used in most areas. With the support of case studies from real life, you will learn what you should take into consideration in various areas.
You will get to know the benefits of the agile way of working and Scrum, but we will also discuss the challenges and highlight some common pitfalls.
Finally, you will get an overview how the agile approach can be implemented in large, complex organisations through a standard, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFE).
