Case
Sustainability reporting manages value chain risks.
Sustainability has long been an integrated part of Clemondo’s business. As expectations from markets, regulations and customers continue to evolve, the company identified a need to further strengthen the link between sustainability, business strategy and risk management.

Background
Clemondo develops, manufactures and markets cleaning and hygiene products for professional customers across industry, automotive, public sector and facility management. With in-house production in Helsingborg, the company combines product development and manufacturing to deliver efficient and safe solutions tailored to customer needs.
Challenge
The company is certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and complies with the EU regulatory framework for medical devices (MDR). Quality, environmental and occupational health and safety aspects are therefore systematically integrated into governance and operations. With a high level of ambition already in place, the next step was to further align sustainability, business strategy and value chain risks.
Structuring sustainable business for long-term growth.
Knightec Group supported Clemondo in structuring and prioritising its next steps in sustainable business development, combining strategic insight with sustainability expertise and methodology. The work included a double materiality assessment aligned with CSRD and ESRS, a risk-based value chain analysis, and support in developing a long-term sustainability strategy.
By combining Clemondo’s business knowledge with Knightec Group’s expertise, the analysis identified key impacts, risks and opportunities across the value chain, products and regulatory landscape. A structured risk assessment was integrated into existing governance processes, strengthening decision-making, supplier management and long-term business resilience.

Delivered Value
The work resulted in a clear strategy for sustainable business development, with priorities linked to market access, competitiveness and risk reduction. It builds on Clemondo’s existing management systems while strengthening structures through improved prioritisation, follow-up and alignment with business goals.
A sustainability report in line with the VSME standard was also developed, serving both as a tool for transparency and as a framework for governance, prioritisation and continued development.
